All FC&MCC Members,

Well we had a nice group of members at our last meeting and we discussed several topics. Gary brought our new membership cards to the meeting and he did a great job. Ken will be making up our flyers for the cruise-in and he does a really nice job. We collected several dues and if anyone did not pay they can mail a check to our post office box: FC&MCC, PO Box 41044, Fredericksburg, VA 22404. We really need the dues so we can put together our roster for this coming year. We will be starting our cruise March 27 Friday night…weather permitting. I think we all will be ready to show our cars and see all the new things that everyone has done to their cars over this winter.

We currently have $985.55 in our Treasury. The club received a thank you letter from Fredericksburg social services and a certificate from Spotsylvania. We also received a nice letter from the Fredericksburg Homeless Shelter for the $200 that we sent them. Good job members! We have volunteered to help organize a car show for the Fredericksburg Homeless Shelter but they have decided to do it later in the year so we are still working on it. They are having trouble finding a place to hold the show. I will let everyone know when they contact me.

We are still working on the Web site I am still having trouble forwarding any e-mails. Leslie is working on it for me. She has plans to expand our photo pages. Good job, Leslie.

As most of you know Pop has lung cancer and he is not doing well. He will start treatment right away next week. We are not sure what treatment they are going to do as yet, and he is not taking it well. Thanks to those that have called. He has small cell cancer that spreads really fast so treatment right away is very important. He is still working and hopes he can work as it takes his mind off of the cancer.

Our next meeting will be Tuesday, February 10. Hope to see lots of members there!
